These strawberry donuts are delicious! We love making homemade donuts on weekend and holidays when we have time in the mornings. It’s easier than you might think, just grab a donut pan and follow this recipe.
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted at room temp.
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temp
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2½ all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hull removed and diced
  • Glaze:
  • 2 cups powdered icing sugar
  • ½ cup milk

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Spray your donut pans with a non-stick baking spray.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, add together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Stir to combine
  5. Set to the side.
  6. In a separate bowl, add the milk, oil, sugar, egg, butter, and vanilla.
  7. Stir until fully combined.
  8. Add your dry ingredients to the wet ingredients
  9. Stir until combined.
  10. Add your strawberries and fold into the batter.
  11. Spoon batter into donut pan
  12. Bake for 9-10 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  13. Let cool 10 minutes.
  14. Glaze:
  15. In a medium sized mixing bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk.
  16. Place a piece of foil under the wire rack with the donuts to catch any glaze.
  17. Pour your glaze from the bowl onto the donuts
